The Social Administration is responsible for interventions, support, and services to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are primarily governed by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and must implement interventions regulated by these laws. All operations are characterized by a person-centered approach to meet individual needs. The mission entails a strong customer focus and service spirit.

In the Individual and Family Care department, we handle authority matters within various parts of social services. There is also outpatient care for adults, children, and families. We are a workplace with about 180 employees, both men and women of varying ages and years of experience. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are in a development phase where we are investing in further strengthening the quality of our work. As part of this, we are expanding the management team and recruiting a new 1st social worker who will be part of a team of four 1st social workers.

The responsibilities in the Children and Youth unit involve investigating and assessing needs, making decisions, and following up on granted interventions for children and youth aged 0-21 years. We consistently perform legally secure work of high quality according to current legislation. Your responsibilities as a 1st social worker include leading, distributing, and ensuring the quality of the work with investigations and follow-ups. The work includes mentoring and supporting social workers in the unit with their daily tasks, driving a development effort to ensure good working methods and structures in the unit, collaborating with both internal and external partners to create a holistic view and the best conditions for the municipality's residents. Your responsibilities also include representing the social committee in court.

You will have close cooperation with the unit manager regarding environmental monitoring, follow-up, and collaboration. The position requires availability and physical presence as well as good knowledge of social work concerning children and youth. Remote work is possible when the operations allow it.

QUALIFICATIONS

Formal competencies:

• You are a trained social worker or have another higher education that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have at least five years of experience in social work with authority functions regarding children and youth or work that the employer assesses as equivalent.
• You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

Personal competencies:

• You are confident in yourself, stand up for your opinions, and have the courage to speak up when necessary. You have the ability to separate the issue from the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.

• You are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your approach. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions.
